Those who have been following this project will already be aware that this has been held up by permits and paperwork. The project took a significant step forward recently as the Environment Agency have approved the permit for the works on the riverbank.
This now means that the Project Team and the Parish Council can start to put the programme of works together and set out the timetable for the work.
Obviously the weather will have an affect on the start time as will public holidays and the availability of the requisite materials.
It is still expected that the pathways will be ready in time for the spring at the very latest.
